Not all interviews offers are not worth accepting. By knowing what you want from a company it makes it much easier to know what is acceptable as a potential employer and what should be passed over.

The number of employees with side jobs is on the rise because people just can’t make it on one paycheck. The only answer for many people is to run a business on the side or take a second, part time job. While many employers encourage employees to seek outside employment, others are worried that a second job will affect job performance. Some are even worried that an employee may take a position with a competitor or start up a competing business.

According to the CBI / Edexcel Education & Skill Survey 2008, there is a distinct concern amongst employers that they cannot attract people with the “right” skills. In fact, 53% of employers state they lack confidence in finding the necessary skills in new employees.
