After months of contentious negotiations between the office clerical unit of Local 63, a division of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) and 17 shipping lines serving the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, a tentative agreement was reached yesterday on a three-year labor contract covering clerical workers at both ports.
