Railroad shipping: AAR says weekly freight volumes up 1.1 percent

The American Association of Railroads (AAR) said yesterday that freight traffic volumes on United States railroads for the week ending February 23 were up, thanks largely to strong performances of grain, coal, and metallic ores loadings.
